Insect cell culture has recently attracted attention as a method for mass production of recombinant proteins such as cytokines and vaccines. In particular, the Sf-9 cell line derived from the ovary of the cabbage armyworm, Mamestra Brassicae, has high expression and production efficiency of a target gene and is expected to expand its use. This product realizes more efficient protein production by enabling high-density suspension culture of Sf-9 without serum.
